Ryan Woosley, 41, of Creston, died June 18, 2025, at Three Mile Lake, north of Afton. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Pastor Mary O’Riley will officiate. Open visitation, with family receiving friends, will be 12-2 p.m. Thursday, before the service.

Ryan Lee Woosley, son of Randall Lee Woosley and Barb Ann (Mason) Woosley, was born on July 11, 1983, in Creston. Ryan attended Creston Schools until the fourth grade, then moved to Afton. Ryan had a lot of fun growing up with his two brothers, Nathan and Justin. He attended East Union Schools and later earned his G.E.D.
Ryan worked various jobs, including working for Iron Man for many years and many construction and concrete jobs. He loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family. He especially adored his grandson, Wesley. He always kept busy, working on cars and making sure his girls’ cars were maintained. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and was also an ordained minister.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Randy Woosley of Creston and Barb Woosley of Osceola; fiancee, Shaeina Allison of Creston; his daughters, Rylee Woosley and Rayven Shields, both of Afton; brothers, Nathan (Mary) Woosley of Omaha, Nebraska, and Justin Woosley of Leon; grandson Wesley Moore; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Zella and Dennis Mason, Maxine Williams and Teddy Woosley and uncles, Ron Woosley and Robert “Bob” Mason.
