Jeanne (Reed) Clark, 72, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Lenox, passed away March 3, 2025, at home in Omaha.
Jeanne was born Dec. 16, 1952, to Lewis Reed and Betty Campbell in Corning. Jeanne grew up on a farm east of Lenox with five sisters and three brothers: Linda, Ellen, Jen, Denise, Dennis, Tom, Jane and Dina. Jeanne was blessed with four children: Michelle, Michael, Brandy and Brandon.
Jeanne graduated from Lenox High School in 1971. She attended Southwestern Community College in Creston, and graduated with a degree as an LPN in 1994.
Left to cherish Jeanne’s memory are two daughters, Michelle Rice of Ames and Brandy (Chris) Zimmerman of Clearfield; son Brandon Cordell of Omaha; siblings: Linda Clayton of Thayer, Ellen Lee of San Diego, California, Jim (Tina) Reed of Lenox, Denise Fuller of Creston, Dennis Reed of Lenox, Tom (Jan) Reed of Lenox, Jane Glup of Omaha and Dina Reed of Martensdale; many nieces, nephews and friends; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and three stepsons: Mike, Steven and Matt Clark.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Reed and Betty Campbell; son Michael Rice; niece Regina Reed; two nephews, Robin Armstrong and Jacob Clayton and two brothers-in-law, Dave Glup and Larry Clayton.
Jeanne will be missed by her entire family. May she be at peace in God’s loving care.
Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. June 7, at the North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox.
