Phillip J. Miller

Phillip J. Miller, 76, of Creston, died June 24, 2024. Phillip has requested there be no public services.

Phillip John Miller was born March 9, 1948, the son of Opal and John P. Miller in Creston. Phil attended Orient school. In 1974, he married Paula Pettit and together they had two daughters, April and Alicia. They divorced in 1984.

Phil loved to spend his winters in Arizona and Nevada, where he mined turquoise and made jewelry he sold at flea markets.

Phil is survived by his daughters, April (Chet) Reames, Alicia Miller and Jennifer Latabani; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister, Carolyn (Don) Duskin and lots of nieces and nephews.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlotte Bailey; brother, Dean (Buzz) Miller; niece, Susan Bailey Price and nephews, Keith Bailey and Chris Miller.
