Erin Michelle Bierle, 41, of Madison Lake, Minnesota, formerly of Cromwell, passed away at her home Friday, July 14, 2023. Funeral services led by Reverend Mary O’Riley will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 24 at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center of Creston. Open visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., with family receiving friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 23 at the funeral home. The family has requested you wear bright colors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Erin Bierle Fund, to be used for her grandson Tommy’s education fund.
Erin Michelle Bierle was born Aug. 26, 1981, the daughter of Robert (Debbie) Bierle and Roberta Landers, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. The family moved between Missouri and Iowa when Erin was younger, settling in Creston. Erin graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1999. Erin chose to work in the field of property management for 23 years throughout the Kansas City and Des Moines areas.
In October 2001, Erin married Tony Lanteri in Kansas City. Together the couple was blessed with a child, Myah Lanteri. Erin and Tony divorced in 2006. Later in 2011, Erin married Eric Millslagle and was blessed with two bonus sons, Gunnar Millslagle and Gavin Millslagle. Erin and Eric divorced in May 2023.
In 2023 Erin was blessed with her first grandchild, Tommy Chapman. Erin was beyond excited to become a grandmother, she loved Tommy so incredibly much, he became her screensaver on her phone from the moment he was born.
Erin was a very social, big hearted, great person who loved hard and deep. Erin always put her family and friends first.
Left to cherish Erin’s memory are her children: Myah Lanteri (Sam) of Ames; sons, Gunnar Millslagle and Gavin Millslagle of Creston; one grandson: Thomas Chapman of Ames; her parents, Robert (Debbie) Bierle of Ankeny and Roberta Landers of Winterset; her siblings: Rhea (Reed) Hemish of Mankato, Minnesota, Kara (Jeff) Sweere of Madison Lake, Minnesota, Reid (Juila) Bierle of Mason City, Amber Landers of Kansas City, Missouri, Jessica (Mike) Landers of Winterset and Ben (Natalie) Landers of Portland, Oregon; many nieces and nephews.
Erin was preceded in death by her stepfather, Mick Landers and grandparents, Roy and Wilma Bierle.
