Lisa A. Barlow

Lisa Barlow, 57, of Des Moines, formerly of Creston, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at her home in Des Moines. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday July 22 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Open visitation, with family to receive friends will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 21 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Lisa Ann Barlow was born Sept. 3, 1965, to Wilson Williamson and Rose Ann (Dewhirst) Morrison in Lawton, Oklahoma, at Fort Sill. Lisa graduated from Creston Community High School in 1983. On May 4, 2011, Lisa was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Barlow in Des Moines. She worked for Sears Financial and later for Wells Fargo Bank as a collection specialist.

Lisa greatly enjoyed spending time with her saltwater fish, gardening and her different art projects.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Barlow of Des Moines; parents, Richard E. and Rose Ann Morrison of West Des Moines; three children: Coral L. Wenger of Ankeny, Katie R. Barlow of Des Moines and Stephani N. Barlow of Warner Robins, Georgia; a brother Steve Williamson of Creston, and sister Annice C. Williamson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Williamson and brother, Mike Williamson.
