Rose Beaman, 73, of Creston, died Friday, April 21, 2023, at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines. Celebration of Life Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Joseph Maxwell will officiate. The family has requested casual dress for the visitation and service. Burial will be at a later date. Open visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston prior to the service.

Rose Marie Beaman was born Oct. 8, 1949, to Harry and Nellie (Kosar) Williamson in Prescott. Rose attended Prescott Community School. Rose was united in marriage to Francis Beaman in Nevinville. The couple lived in Adair, Madison and Union counties where she worked as an active mother and homemaker. Rose and Francis later separated. Rose then worked at Bunn-o-Matic for a short time. She later attended Southwestern Community College and graduated in 2000 with a degree in computer programing. Followed by working 18 years for Gummy Bear as a packer and later as part of quality control in candy production. She also worked for several years for Walmart. Rose retired in May 2021.

Rose is survived by her 14 children: Linda (Rod) Carroll of Greenfield, Brenda (David) Nail of Greenfield, Gerald (Kristi) Beaman of Adel, Todd (Bonnie) Beaman of Menlo, Jean Pearson of Creston, Ernest (Tina) Beaman of Mount Ayr, Crystal (Brandon) Butler of Creston, J.R. (Julie) Beaman of Bridgewater, Mark (Anna) Beaman of Coburg, Joe Beaman (fiancé Kim Pienelt) of Creston, Nellie Beaman (Buddy Waldtron) of Creston, Kelly (Mel) Beaman of Greenfield, Marrell Beaman of Creston, and Darrell Beaman (Ashley Tucker) of Creston; 38 grandchildren: Terri De Heer, James Carroll, Brandi Buckalew, David Nail, Jr., Andrea Nail, Orma Beaman, Nadia Beaman, Bryson Beaman, Kira Veach, Sara Beaman, Rex Beaman, Steven Beaman, Charlie Beaman, Briana Pearson, Tyler Sullivan, Abby Culbert, Kaleb Wissner, Logan Wissner, Ashlynn Beaman, Gabriel Beaman, Jaiden Stephens, Jarryn Stephens, Arielle Blazek, Casey Blazek, Joshua Beaman, Tyler Beaman, Bridgette Beaman, Sara Beaman, Joseph Wilkinson, Anthony Wilkinson, Gemma Wilkinson, Rosie Wilkinson, Courtney Kaufman, Adam Kaufman, Nathan Butler, Jack Butler, and Addison Butler; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother Richard Williamson (Nancy Freshour) of Lenox; a sister Mary Lou Kline of Creston and many other extended family and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, brother George, grandson Aden Beaman and many other extended family members.
