Edward Cadman, 75, of Creston, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Bergen Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Graceland Cemetery, south of Creston. Pastor Chuck Spindler will officiate. The service will include veteran military honors and be live streamed at www.powersfh.com “events.”

Edward Wayne Cadman was born Jan. 9, 1947, the son of Lyle William and Eva Irene (Warren) Cadman, in Ames, Iowa. He attended Ames primary schools and completed his education at Union High School in Redondo Beach, California.
In 1965, Ed married Charlotte Ann Murphy in Redondo Beach. Ed enlisted in the United States Army in 1966, being honorably discharged in 1970 after serving in Vietnam. Settling in Inglewood, California, Ed drove commercial trucks during his 16-year career with Hughes Aircraft. In 1990 he returned to Iowa, living in Nevada for seven years then moving to Creston. In Creston, Ed lived a quiet and peaceful life caring for his mother and spending time with relatives and friends.
Survivors include his son Edward “Eddie” (Heather) Cadman and grandson, William Cadman of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; sister Jean Swanson of Richmond, Missouri; brother Mike (Karen) Cadman of La Grange, Tennessee, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter at birth and a sister, Cloreen Wood.
