Brandi Foote

Brandi Foote, 45, of Creston, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at the Powers Funeral Home 601 New York Avenue in Creston. Services will be livestreamed with the link available at the Powers Funeral Home website under the events section. Rev. Kyle Foote will officiate. Open visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family.  Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.

Brandi Lee Foote, was born Sept. 20, 1976 in Creston, a daughter to Rick D. Foote and Sharon M. (Brownrigg) Foote.  She was educated in East Union Schools and graduated from Creston High School.  Following her graduation, Brandi worked at the Knotty Pine and then Pizza Hut, before working for a year at Wellman Dynamics in 1998.

Brandi was in relationship with Courtney Abel. Together they had a daughter, Bailey.  After parting ways, Brandi met Steve Rowan, and they were together for many years. Brandi partnered with Butch Hoffman, together having daughters Alleigh and Sydney. Brandi was employed with Bunn-O-Matic for over 16 years.  Brandi lived most of her life in the Afton and Creston areas.

Brandi married Courtney M. Abel on Sept. 17, 2017, in Afton.   They later divorced.  Brandi enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and the Food Network channel for entertainment. She also loved watching the Iowa Hawkeyes football as well as NASCAR racing.

Survivors include her daughters, Bailey (Dylan) Cunningham of Afton, Alleigh Hoffman and Sydney Hoffman, both of Shannon City; grandsons, Randy and Waylon Cunningham; her father Rick (Teresa) Foote of Afton; brothers, Jamie Foote of Prescott, Jesse Meggison of Creston and Jordan Foote of Afton; step-father, Gail Freihage of Creston; niece Jersey Foote of Creston; former co-partner is raising Bailey, Steve Rowan of Adel; former partner, Butch Hoffman of Shannon City; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and other extended family.

Brandi was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Foote Freihage and sister Allison Freihage.
