Ronald Crigger, 67, of Creston, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. A sharing time will be 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave. in Creston. Visitation with family receiving friends will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Ronald Lynn Crigger, son of Francis D. Crigger and Grace Almena (Schrodt) Crigger, was born July 9, 1954, in Creston. He graduated from Creston High School, then studied at Southwestern Community College and finishing with a BA Degree in Psychology at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. Ron first worked with his father at Graceland Cemetery.

Ron met Sue Lynn (Mauzakis) Davis while working at Gits Manufacturing.

They began a more formal life together in May of 2011 and have enjoy the riches of togetherness for the past 10 years. Ron also worked for Bunn-O-Matic, Gits Manufacturing, Fansteel/Wellman, and most recently Cardinal Glass, all in the Creston area. He retired in 2019.

Ron loved animals; dogs, squirrels and birds were some of his favorites. He also enjoy bowling and all the friends and family involved with league bowling. Ron was a former member of the Creston Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Davis of Creston; a daughter, Jessica (Stephen) Cornelius of Weston, Missouri; and a son, Jacob (Coral) Kovac of St. Joseph, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cole and Jacoby Kovac and Kellan Kirkbride; two brothers, Dave (Carolyn) Crigger and Mike (Misty) Crigger, both of Creston; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dwaine Crigger and a sister, Carolyn Pingree.
