Donald Tucker

Donald Tucker, 82, of Creston died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Greater Regional Health in Creston. There will be no public services at this time. Memorials can be made to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.powersfh.com

Donald Rex Tucker was born Sept. 19, 1938, near Fontanelle, to Rex Raymond Tucker and Mary Mildred (Creighton) Tucker. Donald grew up on the farm and attended country school at Jackson No. 8 and later graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957.

He worked on the family farm later the Center Milk Plant in Creston for many years. He also worked for several years at Green Valley State Park as a park ranger assistant doing a variety of different duties during the year. When Donald was not busy at work, he enjoyed hunting and fishing particularly when he could take his Irish Setter Sean with him. Donald was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include his brother Richard Tucker of Creston; his niece Autumn (Bob) Waske of Creston; niece Heather Madison and nephew Lucas Waske.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
