Mrs. Shirley A. Johnson, 77, of St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of Creston entered her eternal rest Sunday, April 25, 2021, in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Shirley will be laid to rest beside her late husband in the Oakland Cemetery at Quincy, rural Adams County. Public memorial graveside services will be held with family and friends at a date to be determined. Pearson Family Funeral Service and Cremation Center, 809 W. Shirley Ann Johnson was born June 25, 1943, in Prescott. She was the daughter of James Wilson and Lela Ella (Campbell) Coleman. Shirley graduated from Prescott High School and shortly after, married Forrest Leo Johnson, June 24, 1961. The couple was blessed with five children: Elza, Shirley J., Dwight, Olin and Forrest.

Shirley worked hard as a homemaker for her family. In later years, Shirley worked as cook in various places in Creston. She moved to St. Louis 34 years ago, in 1987, to be closer to her children.

Preceding Shirley in death was her husband, Forrest L. Johnson in 1984; her son-in-law Bill Bartlett; a sister Nancy Sheriff; her brother Christopher Coleman; brothers-in-law: Leo Sheriff, Dale McGinnis and Don Keeler; sister-in-law Myrna Coleman.

Shirley is survived by her children: Elza Bartlett, Shirley J. (Greg) Kocher, Dwight (Lynn) Johnson, Olin Johnson (Staci Lynn) and Forrest Johnson; Shirley is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one on the way; sisters Ella McGinnis and Mary Keeler, brother John Coleman.
