High-speed chase ends in crash

A pursuit Monday which started in Creston came to an end when the sought-after vehicle rolled and struck an electrical pole on the south side of 160th Street at Ivy Avenue.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to a Des Moines hospital by helicopter for his injuries. His name and condition have not been released.
