Homestead close to reopening

A new exterior welcomes a refurbished Homestead.

Homestead held an open house Wednesday, showcasing the revival of a memory care and assisted living facility after last year’s tornado caused significant damage.

Residents, old and new, are planned to begin moving into the updated facility later this month on Dec. 15. A ribbon cutting celebrating the business will take place Dec. 16.
