A new face has joined the Uptown businesses on Pine Street, though she isn’t new to Creston.
Esthetics by Willow Lee first came to Creston in May 2024, joining with Josie Bergmeier at Vitality Aesthetics at 1720 Commerce Road. Owner Willow Thompson then briefly partnered with Alison Travis at Paisley Rose Boutique at 505 E. Taylor St.
However, Thompson decided it was finally time for a place of her own. “I figured why not get my own open, wide space for myself,” she said at the ribbon cutting for her business Monday.
Originally from Strawberry Point, Thompson went to school for both cosmetology and nursing, earning her LPN and a learning variety of cosmetic services. With her shop now located at 230 N. Pine St., Thompson is ready to serve Creston again.
“I provide lash services like lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, and then I do brow services, face waxing, custom spray tans and facial treatments, and I’ll be starting airbrush makeup next January,” Thompson said.
Services at Esthetics by Willow Lee are by appointment only. To book a session, patrons can find a link in Thompson’s Facebook or Instagram bio @estheticsbywillowlee or call Thompson at (563) 822-0242.
