With three longtime incumbents bowing out of November’s city and school election, Creston will see newcomers stepping in to fill their roles.
On city council, Mayor Pro-Tem and at-large councilman Richard Madison is stepping down from his at-large seat after more than a decade of service. Ward 5 councilman Steve Wintermute, who served a short period as mayor, is also not running for re-election.
Three of the four races are contested.
