Bookstore hosts local children’s author

Saturday, The Latest Edition Bookstore in Creston hosted Stephens-Higgins, pictured left, to do an author signing as a part of the Uptown Tailgate event.

Creston’s Terri Stephens-Higgins recently released a children’s book, “Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane: The Puppy Wonder,” as a way to help make cancer easier to understand and talk about.

"Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane: The Puppy Wonder" can be purchased at The Latest Edition Bookstore in Creston, Background’s Coffee Bar & Boutique in Corning, Country Blossoms in Mount Ayr and Diagonal Building Products in Diagonal.

Saturday, The Latest Edition Bookstore in Creston hosted Stephens-Higgins to do an author signing as a part of the Uptown Tailgate event.

The book is her way of sharing her experience as a woman fighting cancer. Stephens-Higgins has had two surgeries to remove brain tumors while doctors continue to monitor the remaining smaller tumors.

Books can be purchased at The Latest Edition, Background’s Coffee Bar & Boutique in Corning, Country Blossoms in Mount Ayr and Diagonal Building Products in Diagonal.
