Saturday, The Latest Edition Bookstore in Creston hosted Stephens-Higgins to do an author signing as a part of the Uptown Tailgate event.
The book is her way of sharing her experience as a woman fighting cancer. Stephens-Higgins has had two surgeries to remove brain tumors while doctors continue to monitor the remaining smaller tumors.
Books can be purchased at The Latest Edition, Background’s Coffee Bar & Boutique in Corning, Country Blossoms in Mount Ayr and Diagonal Building Products in Diagonal.
