Ministerial alliances to have Lenten services

Union County and Lenox ministerial alliances will have weekly ecumenical Lenten services through the season.

Union County: all meetings are at 5 p.m. unless noted.

The service Sunday, Feb. 25 is at Cromwell Congregational United Church of Christ. Creston United Methodist Pastor Jodi Rushing will speak.

Sunday, March 3: at Creston First United Methodist. Pastor Evan McVann will speak.

Sunday, March 10: at First Christian Church. Pastor Mary O’Riley will speak.

Sunday, March 17: at Salem Lutheran Church. Father Patrick Amedeka will speak.

Palm Sunday, March 24: at First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Tony Thurston will speak.

Good Friday, March 29. Service is at noon at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston. Pastors Sheila Sutton and Jim McIntosh will speak.

Lenox

All services are at 7 p.m. unless noted.

March 10: at Lenox Christian Church. Pastor Jeff Cummins will speak.

March 17: at Clearfield Methodist Church. Pastor Tim Maxa will speak.

Palm Sunday, March 24: at Prescott United Church DOC. Mary O’Riley will speak.

Wednesday Crosswalk, 5:30 p.m., March 27: at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lenox.

Maundy Thursday, March 28: at Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church. Tim maxa will speak.

Good Friday, March 29: at Arising Methodist Church in Lenox. Pastor Lauri Greenlee will speak.
