Heather L. Green, 37, of Creston, was taken into custody 2:57 p.m. June 6 in the 100 block of West Taylor Street on the charge of driving while barred.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:48 p.m. officers observed a 2010 BMW 328xi on Maple and Taylor streets. The BMW is known to officers to be driven by Green, who is known to possess a barred driver’s license. Officers made contact with the BMW in the Casey’s General Store parking lot and confirmed both the driver to be Green and her license status of barred in Iowa.
Green was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.
