74th ANNUAL JULY 4TH CELEBRATION

The 10,000 Crestonians, in conjunction with the annual Fourth of July Celebration, is sponsoring the parade in Uptown Creston on Monday, July 4th at 10:00 am.    This year’s theme is: “May the 4th Be With You”

ENTRY DIVISIONS

Adult (16 years and over) novelty, theme, antique/classic vehicles and tractors, saddle horses, horses or pony hitches, saddle clubs.

Youth (15 years and under) novelty, theme, pets and miscellaneous, bicycles, saddle horses, wagons and buggies.

BICYCLES and HELMETS will again be given away to the best decorated bicycle entries in the parade.

Past winners are not eligible to win bicycles but are encouraged to participate in the parade for other prizes to be given away.

Creston Bucks will be awarded to all categories except antique/classic vehicles/tractors, which will all be presented ribbons.  Judges will score entries using the theme favorably.  Check in will be at the Creston Livestock Auction. All entries must be there and in place by 9:45 a.m.  Horse entries must be in place by 10 a.m. Judging will begin prior to the start of the parade. Complete the entry form and return to the 10,000 Crestonians, 208 W. Taylor in Creston.

Entries must be received by Monday, June 27 if you wish to be judged. Entries not pre-registered will be placed toward the end of the parade. If you do not wish to be judged, you are still welcome to participate; just show up on July 4.
