Tonya Elizabeth Tindle, 31, Clearfield was charged with posessesion of controlled substance, third offense – marijuana, and possession of controlled substance, third offense – methamphetamine, 6:32 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Highway 34 and Cromwell Road.

According to a Creston Police report, Tindle was operating a vehicle observed to have two non-operating brake lamps. A traffic stop was conducted and K9 Baxo was deployed. Baxo gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics. A loaded syringe was located in the sun visor on the defendant’s side of the vehicle. A 1/2′' socket was located in the center console that contained burnt and raw marijuana. The loaded syringe field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. Tindle acknowledged knowing the syringe was in the visor for approximately two months.

Creston Police K-9 Baxo assisted in this arrest.

Tindle was taken to the Union County Jail where she was released on $10,000 cash or Surety bond.

Michael Scott Walton, 36, Clearfield was charged with posession of a controlled substance, third offense - marijuana and possession of controlled substance, third offense - methamphetamine, 6:38 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Highway 34 and Cromwell Road.

According to a Creston Police report, Scott was the passenger of a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation and during the stop K-9 Baxo was deployed. During the stop, marijuana was discovered in a 1/2 socket in the center console. This item was described by the driver as belonging to Walton. Methamphetamine was also discovered under the passenger seat where Walton was seated.

Creston Police K-9 Baxo assisted in this arrest.

Walton was taken to the Union County Jail where he was released on $10,000 cash or Surety bond.

James Fred Goodman, 69, Diagonal was charged with domestic abuse assault, first offsense, 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Creston Police report, officer responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of North Sycamore Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Goodman who stated he was going to break out the windows of the car that he owned the victim was driving. As he was escorted off the property he told the victim that he would get her. In the presents of officers Goodman stated he was going to ram the car.

Goodman was taken to the Union County Jail where he was released on his own recognize.
