New Hy-Vee drive-in movie theater opens this weekend with special showing of ‘Field of Dreams’

WEST DES MOINES — Hy-Vee and HD On The Go Big Screen LLC have teamed up to open a new Hy-Vee Drive-in Movie Theater at Valley West Mall in West Des Moines this summer. To celebrate the opening, Hy-Vee is hosting a special media and VIP preview night for the theater June 5, with a special showing of the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams.”

The drive-in movie theater will open June 6 to the general public for the very first time with a second showing of the movie.
