No citations were issued after an accident 7:05 a.m. at the intersection of East Mills and North Walnut streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Sonya Lee Houghmaster, 48, 610 W. Montgomery St. was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium southbound when she did not see Mandy Lynn McDowell-Beer’s 2012 Nissan, which was traveling northbound. McDowell-Beer also had the right-of-way, as she did not have a stop sign.
Estimated damage was $1,000 to Houghmaster’s vehicle and $2,000 to McDowell-Beer’s vehicle.
