Two ways to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine

Union County Public Health and Greater Regional Health announced 200 additional doses will be allocated to Union County this week. The additional doses will be used to continue to work through the Phase 1b tier group one and vaccinate more individuals from the 65+ population group.

“Our process continues to evolve as we work through this challenging situation of supply and demand,” Greater Regional Health officials stated in a press release.

As of today, there are two ways of to sign up to receive a COVID-19 vaccine for the eligible age group of 65+.

The first way, and most encouraged, is to go online and register: tinyurl.com/kxojkena

The link can also be found on Greater Regional Health’s Facebook page on Greater Regional Health’s website in the orange bar at the very top of the screen.

The second way, for those without internet access to still have an opportunity to get on the list is to call the COVID-19 hotline number on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from noon to 2 p.m. The hotline number is (641) 745-0124.

This list is an opportunity for individuals to sign up to receive a COVID-19 vaccine when the supply becomes available. Union County Public Health will call you to schedule your vaccine appointment. Appointments will be scheduled as doses become available.
