8th Annual KSIB Tractor Ride postponed

The 2020 KSIB Tractor Ride which was scheduled for June 1 - (not May 22) has been postponed. They will be re-scheduling the ride later this season.

Orient-Macksburg Garden Fair

The Orient-Macksburg Library annual garden fair fundraiser is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the west side of Orient at 118 Jackson St. Perennials from local gardens, a variety of annuals for color, vendors with handcrafted goods such as wood items, hand loomed rugs, soaps, hand roasted coffee beans and more will all be on offer. Coffee and rolls will be served in the morning, and the Little Green Trailer food truck will be serving food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everything will be outside and spread out to keep a safe six-foot distance. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17 is the plant sale only. Pizza Ranch - not a self-serve

Pizza Ranch has clarified that their buffet is open, but NOT self-serve. The wait staff/team member will handle food orders.

Creston High School Awards Ceremony

The Creston High School Awards Ceremony will be streamed live at 6 p.m. May 14 on KSIB’s website and the link will be shared on Twitter as well. Graduation is being held virtually at 2 p.m. May 17 for students and their families. After the ceremony, it will be made available to the public on the school website and will be tweeted out on social media.

CCHS Prom 2020

The CCHS Prom has been tentatively rescheduled for Saturday, June 27. Details to come as they work with the various groups who volunteer to create a memorable evening for the students.

Carroll Family Chiropractic

Carroll Family Chiropractic returned to their normal business hours seeing patients Monday, May 4. They request a cloth mask be worn during visits and to be seated at least six feet away from any other patients in the waiting area.
