Six events finish top-10 at NWMSU

MARYVILLE, Missouri — Six Nodaway Valley events were top-10 at the Northwest Missouri Indoor Kickoff track meet Saturday at Northwest Missouri State University.

The boys distance medley relay of Luke Kading, Titan Foster, Paul Kading and Gabe Winkelmann finished runners-up in 11:24.74. Sprinter Cassius Burnside took fifth with a personal record in the 60m dash in 7.27 seconds.

Emma Boswell leapt 15-02.25 in the long jump for fifth place, and she placed ninth in the high jump (4-07). She was on two relays that both placed sixth. The sprint medley (Allie Cornelison, Boswell, Kylie Nelson and Abby Nelson ran a 4:43.53) and the 4x400m relay ran a 4:32.75.

Nodaway Valley’s first outdoor track meet is Tuesday, March 31, at Bedford. The following Monday is the team’s only home meet of the season.
