Event Briefs for the week of Wednesday, Dec. 10

Fontanelle hosts Christmas this Saturday

Come Saturday, Dec. 13 to Fontanelle for the annual pancake lunch, B-F PreKindergarten Bake Sale and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fontanelle Fire Station.

Winter Extravaganza Saturday

The annual Winter Extravaganza is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday at the Adair County Fairgrounds.

More than 20 vendors are signed up to take part in this event.

Santa Claus will visit from 9-11 a.m.

Lunch available on-site.

Community Conversations Dec. 21

The next Community Conversations event, 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21,at Greenfield United Methodist Church, will focus on naming and sharing how we cope with our winter blues.

A light supper will be provided.

This event is a partnership between Adair County Healthy Connections, NVHS’s Personal Wellness and Leadership class and Greenfield United Methodist Church.

Greenfield UMC’s Blue Christmas worship service will precede this event at 5 p.m.
