Adair County Health System has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2025 honor by Iowa Top Workplaces 2025. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected and supported, enabled to grow and empowered to execute, to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” Enerage CEO Eric Rubino said. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
This marks the third year ACHS has received the Top Workplaces honor, having also earned the recognition in 2022 and 2023.
“What makes this award so meaningful is that it comes directly from our employees’ voices,” CEO Catherine Hillestad said. “At ACHS, our people are at the heart of everything we do. This recognition affirms our commitment to fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver the very best care to our community. I’m so proud of the work everyone does every day that has allowed us to be named a Top Workplace three times. This honor is truly a reflection of the culture our team creates together.”
To celebrate, ACHS employees gathered for a staff lunch and received Top Workplaces t-shirts in recognition of their role in this achievement. Only 149 organizations across Iowa made this year’s list, placing ACHS among the state’s top employers.
