Christian store Run to Revival opens in Stuart

Offers merchandise, places for quiet prayer or live music

Friends, family and members of the Stuart business community help Jen Fagan celebrate her new business, Run to Revival.

Run to Revival is a recently-opened Christian mercantile that offers many other amenities in downtown Stuart.

Jen Fagan, an Osceola native who studied merchandising and design in college, has always wanted to have a store, but she didn’t really know what it would look like.

Run to Revival, at 123 NW 2nd Street, not only has a mercantile space that offers gift items as well as books, Bibles and Bible studies and greeting cards that are geared toward women, men, couples and children.

“There are a lot of things for everyone,” Fagan said.

In addition to the merchandise, there is a prayer room for solitude and reflection and a room known as the Rise Room where either local musicians are encouraged to come share their gifts, or other outreach-oriented events will happen there.

“My two biggest things are outreach and providing a space for groups that are wanting to meet, or if there’s anyone wanting a space to spread the gospel, they have a space to do that. The other space is one where people who are gift-givers who want to shop these products, they have a place to go purchase those items,” Fagan said. “Our biggest thing is to encourage people who come into our store or are following us to increase their prayer life, dive into scripture and to share the gospel. That’s really what the entire store is about, and you’ll see that throughout.”

Fagan said she is “letting God take the lead” in the business’ growth going forward.

“I don’t want to plan too many things because you never know what tomorrow’s going to look like,” she said. “When the timing is right and He wants you to do something, He makes it happen.”

Jen, husband Jason and their four children live in Earlham.

Run to Revival’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
