Greater Regional clinic to open Monday in Greenfield

Greater Regional Heath will open their clinic on the Greenfield square Monday, Feb. 12.

Greater Regional Health’s newest clinic is scheduled to open in Greenfield Monday, Feb. 12. The clinic, located on the west side of the town’s square, is at 288 Public Square.

Greenfield will be the fourth clinic for Greater Regional outside of the main facility in Creston. Corning, Lenox and Mount Ayr are the other locations. The building the clinic will be in was purchased in December 2022 and was most recently The Turquoise Door.

Greenfield staff includes Demi Eble, Laura Hagen, Bobbi Bower and Amber Welch. Greater Regional administration has noted a number of patients from Adair County, who use Greater Regional in Creston, justified having a clinic in Greenfield.

“Greater Regional Health is excited to open a rural health clinic in Greenfield to support patients of Adair County. With over 20% of the outpatient market share in Adair County, we embrace the opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare locally,” said Kayla Hoffman, Greater Regional Health’s Director of Marketing Communications. “We look forward to providing another point of access to healthcare for the communities we serve.”

Many amenities will be provided at the Greenfield Medical Clinic. It will offer extended hours for family medicine, prenatal and walk-in appointment service, Hoffman said. The clinic will provide lab and radiology services onsite.

“This will be great for our patients to be able to get a healthcare need done right at their appointment instead of making a separate appointment to address that need,” Hoffman said. “As we open and continue to grow our offerings, we will have more opportunities to bring in other service lines that are not available in the area to meet the needs of our patients.”

GRH is excited to serve its patients, but to also be a part of the Adair County community, officials said.

“We look forward to helping support activities for the community through monetary donations, volunteering and providing consistent access to healthcare,” Hoffman said. “You will see our providers participating in activities and events around the Greenfield area to support our patients in and outside of our walls.”

A grand opening date has not been set yet and is expected to come later this spring when weather is warmer. Patients may schedule an appointment with Dr. Demi Eble or Laura Hagen, ARNP, by calling the Greenfield Medical Clinic at 743-6529.
