Wrestling program plans kickoff event Nov. 18

The Nodaway Valley/O-M wrestling program is excited to kick off the 2023-24 season with an open practice and reception for hall of fame inductees Saturday, Nov. 18 beginning at Nodaway Valley High School.

From 4-5 p.m. in the high school gym, this year’s team will be holding an open practice with wrestler and coach introductions.

The 1953-63 alumni teams will be honored and hall of fame information shared in a program that begins at 5 p.m. in the high school commons.

A reception will begin at 6 p.m. at Hotel Greenfield with a cash bar and appetizers available.

This event is for the current Nodaway Valley/O-M wrestling family as well as all who are connected to a past team from 1953 to present.

Hall of Fame committee members are NV/OM co-head coach Brad Honnold, Mike Beaman, Tim Baier, Steve McClelland and Logan Queck.
