Orient-Macksburg finishes track season at Earlham

Orient-Macksburg finished its boys and girls’ track and field season at a Class 1A state-qualifying meet at Earlham Thursday, May 12.

On the girls’ side, Bridget Bracy was 10th in the 3,000, finishing in 14:01.36. She was 18th in the 1,500, clocking in at 6:31.53. Janesa Tonnberg was 14th in the 100-meter dash, in 14.94 seconds, and 18th in the 200, finishing in 32.82. Brandy Bracy was 23rd in the 100, in 18.94 seconds.

Tyson Ross placed eighth in the 200, finishing in 25.08 seconds. He was just out of the medals, finishing ninth in the 400 in 56.93 seconds. He jumped 5 feet, 8 inches, placing third in the high jump. He was 12th in the 100, finishing in 12.41.
