Dave Stalder

Dave Stalder, 69, of Prole, formerly of Greenfield, took the next step in life’s journey, Sunday, April 18, 2021, surrounded by family at his home near Bevington.

David Harold Stalder was born Sept. 29, 1951, in Clarinda.

He is survived by his parents Jim and Bonnie Stalder, Ray Cassidy; his children: Nathan (Laura), Rebecca (Shane) and Amber; six grandchildren; his siblings Cliff (Teresa) and Jenny (Jeff); as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Dave was also blessed to have been surrounded by a large extended family, dear friends, and a few nuts and weirdos (you guys can decide who is who).

Dave was preceded in death by his mother Anna Mae Cassidy, his sister Gloria Porter, grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to be made in his name to Greenfield Fire Department/First Responders or the Martensdale Fire Department/First Responders, or by donating blood to your local blood bank. Any monetary donations given directly to his family will be split between those two organizations.
