Walter Roy Hall Jr., 48, 300 N. Maple St. Apt. 3, was charged on an outside agency warrant 4:19 p.m. Thursday at North Cherry and East Irving Streets.

Hall was being held in the Union County Jail on $500 bond.

Nicholas Andrew Colburn, 35, 302 1/2 S. Birch St., was charged on an outside agency warrant 5:05 p.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Colburn was being held in the Union County Jail where he was awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.

Mathew Louis Scherer, 38, 1303 Clayton Road, was charged on a Union County warrant on the original charge of urinating in public 5:57 p.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Creston Police report, an officer observed a male standing and urinating in the alley between the Elm’s Club and The Lobby on Nov. 6. The male observed the officer and ran eastbound but was stopped at Elm Street. While Scherer denied urinating, officers observed urine on the electrical box were he had been standing. Officers were dispatched to another call and left Scherer at the scene, but later issued an arrest warrant.

Scherer was being held in the Union County Jail on $300 bond.

A representative from Wellman Dynamics, 1746 Commerce Road, reported 4:50 p.m. Thursday that Ferrara Candy Company was broken into and vandalized on Nov. 6 around 8:30 p.m.

Estimated damage was $50.

Hyvis Oerlyn Thatcher, 507 W. Montgomery St., reported 4:08 p.m. Wednesday that someone took a table saw and a go-kart from 508 N. Elm St.

Estimated loss was $1,110.
