Tristan Ray Lehman, 24, 703 W. Mills St., was charged with first-offense operating while impaired 10:05 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Irving and North Division streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Lehman was observed operating a motor vehicle. While turning from West Irving Street onto North Division Street, Lehman struck a curb and officers conducted a traffic stop. Lehman was observed to have pink, puffy eyes and slow speech. Lehman admitted to smoking marijuana approximately 30 minutes before operating the vehicle and a green leafy substance was found on his leg in the vehicle. Lehman failed field sobriety testing but refused to provide a urine sample.
Lehman was released from the Union County Jail on $1,000 bond.
