A Creston 12-and-under softball team recently finished its fall season 15-4, finishing first or second in three of its last four tournaments. During one stretch the team won 13 consecutive games. Coaches were Ben Adamson and Justin Boswell. The team, made up of eight Creston and Orient-Macksburg girls, two from Lenox and one from East Union, competed in tournaments in Des Mones against Des Moines schools or other club teams.
