The brown baton used by members of Creston's 440 relay team in 1969 was called Super Brown and named DKAR for the first names of runners Darrell Roberts, Ken Ketter, Allen Vettrick and Rich Johannes. The 880 relay unit of Roberts, Ketter, Rick Robinson and Johannes still holds the school record, marking the 50th anniversary of that performance at the state meet. (Contributed photo)
