Creston native Kyle McCann receives a plaque as a member of the Iowa High School Athletic Association Basketball Hall of Fame from Greg Dockum of the Iowa Association of School Boards during halftime of the Class 3A championship game Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena. McCann, now of West Des Moines, is joined by daughters Sadie, Grace and Claire and wife Maggie. McCann played on the Panthers' third-place team in 1996 and championship team in 1997 and finished as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,857 points.
