Creston Bucks 2020 Holiday Giveaway
The Creston Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Holiday Giveaway, Creston Bucks, is taking place this year from Nov. 27 through Dec. 16. This community promotion is one that customers and employees look forward to participating in each year. The Creston Chamber of Commerce realizes that the holiday season is especially important to many this year and all chamber members may participate in this event.
This year, as in years past, two top prizes of $500 and five prizes of $100 in Creston Bucks will be given away to lucky winners. A twist will be added to the 2020 giveaway, with two special drawings – one on Dec. 2 and again on Dec. 9 — during the actual promotion for an additional $100 in Creston Bucks.
Each business will draw a number from those already turned in and contact the Chamber on Dec. 2 and Dec. 9 with that ticket number and the chamber will then draw a winning ticket from those numbers and post the number on their website. The original tickets will be returned to the ticket receptacle at the business and be part of the total drawing at the end of the promotion. Prizes must be claimed by Jan. 5, 2021.
Creston Bucks can only be spent in Creston and only at Chamber of Commerce businesses.
All chamber members can participate in the promotion. The only restriction is that non-retailers can only give 10 tickets to each employee during the promotion. The Promotions Committee is suggesting again this year that businesses draw out a ticket from those that have been deposited at their business for an in store prize before bringing all of the tickets to the chamber for the drawing. Each store should post their winning number after they are announced along with the giveaway winners.
All businesses, industries and organizations that participate in the giveaway will be included in the advertising that will take place prior to and during the promotion.
As was done in the past and in an effort to try to give all of the prizes away, a second drawing will take place for tickets that remain unclaimed. Prizes must be picked up by the deadline of 4 p.m. Jan 4. New tickets will be drawn for any uncollected prizes. Prizes from this drawing must be claimed by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 18. All remaining proceeds revert back to the Creston Chamber Promotion Committee.
