Shane Sim Blackford, 29, 1012 Roland Ave. in Chariton, was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charge of probation violation 4:10 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Lucas County Jail.
Blackford was released from the Adair County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Adam James Magill, 31, 108 NW Grant St. in Greenfield, was charged with two counts of third- or subsequent-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia 9:52 p.m. Saturday on 160th Street.
According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, deputies found Magill off the roadway leaning against his vehicle near the intersection of 160th Street and Fontanelle Road. When asked if he was in possession of drugs, Magill pulled from his pockets a bag with a green plant-like substance, three bags each containing a crystalline-like substance and a glass pipe consistent with that used for methamphetamine.
Magill was released on his promise to appear.
