Crossroads Behavioral offers free support groups

Crossroads free educators'
support group

A support group for educators will be offered via Zoom and in person starting from 5 to 6 p.m. Oct. 28. Group members will be encouraged to support each other, share strengths and tips and engage with their community of fellow educators. A certified mental health therapist and trained group leader will be present to assist in facilitating as well as offering support, insight and assistance as needed. Information about additional services that are available for educators and the community will be offered as requested.

Crossroads first responders'
support group

This free support group will take place at 4 p.m. Oct. 29, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17. This support group will focus on daily stressors and other events that can cause distressful emotions and feelings. Group members are encouraged to support each other and provide feedback to each other on the techniques that they have employed that have assisted them successfully. A trained group leader will facilitate the group, offer insight and offer assistance. No registration is required, but preferred.
