Adair County Sheriff

David Spencer Reeves, 34, 508 S. Gaines St., Stuart, was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charges of third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft 12:07 a.m. Oct. 5 at his residence.

Reeves was being held in the Adair County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Payton Allyssa Hill, 21, 503 SE 6th St. Apt. 21, Greenfield, was charged with second-offense domestic abuse assault 4:35 p.m. Oct. 6 at her residence.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, officers responded to a domestic disturbance and a witness advised them that she had stopped an altercation between Hill and a victim. Officers entered the residence and observed Hill striking the victim. Police observed the victim to have a bloody mouth, several scratch marks and various red marks on his body. A no contact order was requested.

Hill was released on $2,000 bond.

Tyler Eugene Worthington, 27, 5065 White Pole Road, Casey, was charged with domestic abuse assault 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6 on Southeast 6th Street in Greenfield.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, officers responded to a domestic disturbance and observed a victim to have red marks on her hand and shoulder. A witness reported that she had stopped an altercation between Worthington and the victim. A no contact order was requested.

Worthington was released from the Adair County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Lucas Dayne Anderson, 25, 624 N. Sherman St., Stuart, was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree theft 7:15 p.m. Oct. 6.

Anderson was released from the Adair County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Alicia Marie Beardsley, 27, 800 State St., and Patrick Scott Beardsley, 40, 2567 Hickory Ave., both in Guthrie Center, were each charged with violation of a no contact order 5:10 p.m. Oct. 7 on White Pole Road in Adair.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for leaving the roadway, and Alicia Beardsley’s license was found to be restricted. The passenger would not tell officers his name. Police found that the passenger matched the description of Patrick Beardsley and that he and Alicia Beardsley had a no contact order in place.

Alicia Beardsley was released on her promise to appear and Patrick Beardsley was released from the Adair County Jail on dismissed charges as the court was unable to determine probable cause.

Amanda Marie Comly, 33, 615 SW 7th St. Apt. 1, Stuart, was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charge of driving while barred 12:38 p.m. Thursday.

Comly was released on $100 bond.

Douglas Wayne Ruse, 811 5th St., Corning, was charged with going armed with intent 4:43 p.m. Thursday on Hayes Street in Greenfield.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, a victim returned to her residence to find Ruse inside, and upon her request for him to leave he refused. Ruse then confronted the victim with a firearm as she was attempting to leave while trying to convince her to drop a no contact order that she had requested against him.

Ruse was released from the Adair County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Michael Eugene Matherly, 34, 314 N. Spruce St., was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charge of domestic abuse assault 8:25 p.m. Friday.

Matherly was released on $1,000 bond.

Michael Gail Steward, 38, 1432 310th St., Fontanelle, was charged on an Adair County warrant on the original charge of violation of a no contact order 10:58 p.m. Friday.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, Steward shoved a victim and placed his hands on their neck. The victim and Steward had a no contact order at the time of the incident Thursday. The victim had no visible injuries and did not want to pursue assault charges against Steward.

Steward was released from the Adair County Jail on $1,000 bond.
