F&M Towing removes a vehicle from the scene of an accident Monday on North Sumner Avenue. No citations were issued after the accident 8:55 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Sumner Avenue and West Adams Street. According to a Creston Police report, Calvin Dean Huffman, 79, 1102 Orchard Dr., was driving a 2010 Chevrolet northbound on North Sumner Avenue. Huffman said he did not see a 2001 Dodge driven by Jennifer Queener, 300 N. Lincoln St., when he attempted to make a left hand turn onto West Adams Street. The front of Huffman's vehicle struck the front driver's side of Queener's vehicle. Bernadette Norton, a passenger in Queener's vehicle, was transported to Greater Regional Health by ambulance.
