Mildred Helenora Douglas, 30, 1706 N. 4th St., Red Oak, was charged with second-degree theft of a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary 11:55 a.m. Saturday at 1311 Orange Ave., Prescott.
According to an Adams County Sheriff’s report, officers responded to a report of a truck being taken from a residence north of Prescott. Douglas was found northwest of the residence on the property unresponsive and intoxicated in the driver’s seat.
Estimated damage to the vehicle exceeded $1,000. Douglas was transported to CHI Health in Corning and later released from the Adams County Jail on her promise to appear.
