No charges were filed after an accident 10:43 Monday on Highway 34.
According to a Creston Police report Randall Jay Beving was driving a 2012 GMC west on Highway 34 when a strong gust of wind blew down a large tree branch covering the roadway. Beving’s vehicle struck the tree damaging the bumper and windshield and deploying the airbags.
No injuries were reported. Estimated damage was $5,000 to the vehicle.
