Creston opens up cross country and football camps

Creston cross country will host its “Creston Panther Camp” Monday, August 3 and Tuesday, August 4.

The camp will run from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the high school track. Sixth grade through seniors will be able to participate with no registration fee.

Creston cross country head coach Pat Schlapia said to remember to bring your own water bottles.

Creston football camps

Creston/O-M football will be opening junior high and high school camps, put on by Creston/O-M staff, starting August 3rd.

The camps will be run in two seperate sessions, with junior high going at 9 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. The junior high camp will run through Aug. 3 through Aug. 5 at Creston High School football field.

The high school camp will run from Aug. 3 through Aug. 7, with times running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Panther football head coach Brian Morrison wants players to bring clothes and cleats.

Camp fee is $20 for junior high and $30 for high school, with the camp form and money due on the first day of camp. There are no pre-registrations.

A camp t-shirt is included in the fee and drinks will not be provided.
