No citations were issued following an accident 3:47 p.m. Sunday on Main Street in Lorimor.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, Mark Hallberg, 43, of Lorimor was driving a 1995 Jeep east on Main Street when a resident was watering flowers. The resident playfully sprayed Hallberg while he was driving. During this, Hallberg lost control of the vehicle and hit a concrete flower box, pushing it to the middle of the sidewalk.
Estimated damage was $3,000 to Hallberg’s vehicle and $100 to the flower bed.
