Robin Sevier, 54, 3286 300th St., Orient, reported theft 1:48 p.m. Wednesday at 1009 N. Cherry St.

According to a Creston Police report, someone took a red 2009 Harley Davidson FLHX was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Estimated loss was $18,000.

Craig Hauser, 55, address unknown, was charged with trespassing 2:02 p.m. Thursday at 804 W. Taylor St.

Hauser was cited and released on his promise to appear.

James Scott, 61, 204 N. Bureau St., was charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated 9:36 p.m. Thursday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to the intersection of North Elm and West Adams street in regards to a hit-and-run accident, with Scott having driven his vehicle away from the scene. Scott was headed west on Adams Street and took a left turn at the intersection of North Elm Street. While doing this, Scott struck the rear end of a parked pickup. Officers stopped at Scott’s residence and found his vehicle parked in the drive way with front end damage. Scott was sitting on the patio and said he was the driver and knew he had struck a parked truck, but believed he didn’t cause any damage to the vehicle. Officers noted the odor of alcohol, and Scott admitted to having drank a few beers before driving. After consenting to a DataMaster test, Scott yielded a blood-alcohol content level of .168.

Scott was being held on $1,000 bond in the Union County Jail.

Jeremiah Parcher, 44, 417 New York Ave, was charged on a Union County warrant for the charges of driving while barred and leaving the scene of an accident, in addition to two counts of possession of an indendiary device 7:09 p.m. Friday, on the 400 block of New York Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Parcher was found to be in possession of two homemade incendiary devices that were packed with sparklers and wrapped in Gorilla Tape. Parcher had lit one off and was about to light another when officers intervened.

Parcher was released on his promise to appear for the charges in the warrant, and was being held on $20,000 bond in the Union County Jail for the new charges.
