CORNING – Shrek Jr. is this year’s annual summer youth musical production at the Corning Opera House Cultural Center, 800 Davis Ave. in Corning.
Performances are at 7 p.m. July 15 and July 16. Cast members are from area elementary schools, including: Corning, Creston, Lenox, Mayflower Christian, Nodaway Valley, Southwest Valley and Storm Lake. The cast consists of Emma DeVore as Shrek, Taylor Brown as Fiona, Josie Douglas as teenage Fiona, Addy Morgan as young Fiona, Dyson Thompson as Lord Farquaad, Karissa Richey as Donkey, Piper Govig as Dragon, Saige Jones as Storyteller 1, Sam Stalker as Storyteller 2 and Peter Pan, Makenna Ramsey as Storyteller 3, Layla Konecne as Momma Ogre/Momma Bear, Quaid Eddy as Papa Ogre/Knight 2, Parker Brown as Pig1/Dwarf, Halle McManis as Pig 2, Curran Eddy as Pig 3, Drayden Thompson as Ugly Duckling/Bishop, JP Jones as Pinocchio, Lucy Eddy as Baby Bear, Megan Ramsey as Wicked Witch, Halle Burgmaier as Big Bad Wolf, Ryder Baird as Gingy, Brantley Hoakison as Captain of the Guard/Knight 3, Paul Kading as Knight 1 and 3, Allison Tye as Pied Piper, Ciara Konecne as Puss in Boots, Arianna Gepner as Rooster and Chloe Stull as Little Ogre.
