Terry Dean Fry

Terry Dean Fry, 62, lost his earthly battle and went to be with our Lord in heaven Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

Born Dec. 30, 1957, Terry grew up in Creston, where he attended high school and was on the wrestling team. Terry was a larger than life type of man who always played by his own set of rules. Terry graduated and went on to a career working at Wellman’s as a forklift driver where he retired. Terry will be forever remembered by a host of friends and family who loved him dearly.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Susie (Miller) Fry (Vanscoy), father Kenneth Fry, mother Carole Willoughby (Fry) and his brother Danny Fry all of Creston. He is survived by his sister Sheri (Leonard) Stier of Grinnell; three sons: Joshua (Alicia) Dewees of Conway, Arkansas, Shane Dewees of Earlham and Christopher (John) Peterman of St. Lawrence, South Dakota; along with his grand children from the Vanscoy and Dewees families.

A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday May 29, 2020, at The Eagles, 300 E. Montgomery St. in Creston. All family and friends are invited to attend.
