Creston Police

Aleacha Crocker, 48, 1304 W Lowell Ave., Shenandoah, was charged with assault with intent to injure 4 p.m. Friday at 619 N. Cherry St.

According to a Creston Police report, Crocker choked a female victim and forced her to the ground.

Crocker was released from the Union County Law Enforcement Center on her promise to appear. on the charge of Assault with Intent to Injure. She was released from the Law Enforcement Center on a Summons to Appear.

Trel Peterson, 34, 803 W. Mills St., was charged on a Cass County warrant for the original charge of assault causing bodily injury 11:58 a.m. Sunday at his residence.

Peterson was being held on $1,000 bond in the Union County Jail.

Reahna Portwood, 302 N. Division St., reported theft 12:45 p.m. Friday at her residence.

According to a Creston Police report, someone had taken a package delivered to the residence that contained a hooded sweatshirt sometime between 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Estimated loss was $80.
